Stroke Management

Stroke is a very serious condition that can result in significant brain damage. It affects the individual who experienced the stroke and their loved ones. We understand that stroke and stroke recovery can be an emotionally charged process that is deeply personal.

We offer a range of stroke rehabilitation services, which include physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. The goal of these therapies is to enable the individual to improve function, to restore as much independence as possible, and to ensure that the relearning of basic skills that may have been lost is achieved with dignity and respect.

We believe that recovery comes from a place of caring and compassion, and we strive to ensure that the environment at the clinic is conducive to the individual’s recovery. We also want to ensure that the environment outside of the clinic is conducive to recovery, by fostering an understanding of what can be done. To achieve this we not only treat patients but also educate them in what they can do to manage their recovery and health beyond therapy. We also advise and educate family members in managing their loved one’s recovery, to make sure that everything possible is being done to facilitate the restoration of function and health.
