Pain Management

We offer pain management services through our physical therapy and occupational therapy programs. Pain management is used to address pain in specific areas of the body, pain that is the result of physical injury, and chronic pain or pain that is brought about by chronic conditions.

Physical therapy for pain treatment typically involves strengthening the muscles, improving endurance, increasing range of motion, and improving the stability and flexibility of the joints. Plans are tailored towards individual patients, and activities are closely monitored by the therapist to ensure that exercises are done properly.

Occupational therapy for pain management typically involves helping individuals live and function within the context of chronic pain. Pain’s impact on daily activities and work is evaluated, and a program is composed to help manage the pain.
