An occupational therapist treats patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help patients to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
What is speech therapy and what does a speech therapist do?
Speech therapy, formally known as speech language pathology, is concerned with issues surrounding speech and language communication disorders.
A speech language pathologist diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
What is lymphatic therapy and what does a lymphatic therapist do?
Lymphatic therapy is therapy designed to help reduce swelling of injured areas of the body or areas recovering from surgery. Procedures are non-invasive.
A lymphatic therapist performs lymphatic drainage therapies with the use of either machine methods, manual methods, or both.
